It's a web-based system that allows your delegates to
register online. They can tell you about themselves, their
food preferences, and their interests. Because this information
is easily accessible you won't have to re-key it. And
you can use it to influence your event.

together with smoothstream to ensure that your conference
gets the maximum benefit. We build a website dedicated
to your conference, and keep it updated as your conference
evolves. We take care of the administration of smoothstream,
allowing conference organisers to focus on organising
rather than administering. |

Easy to
use |
|
With smoothstream you can assign different
payment categories, including categories for sponsors,
speakers and organisers. Using smoothstream you can send
out invitations by email, and track the status of any
of registrants. smoothstream can send out Invoices and
Receipts via email too. Before your conference you can
extract the short biographies of the delegates and compile
them into a document. |

Requirements
and limitations |

We believe in truth in advertising.
Here are the limitations...
smoothstream is designed to use an internet connection
from your computer. If you plan on using it for large-scale
events then you will need a fast internet connection to
cope with the amount of data crossing the wire. A modem
connection would not be suitable for a conference of 150
people. You are likely to want a website in which to embed
the smoothstream registration mechanism. (We can help
you with this. )
If you wish to host smoothstream yourself then you will
need a PHP capable internet hosting account with a MySQL
database. (If you don't have these things, then we'll
host the system for you, taking care of all the technical
details.) |
